On August 15th, NIIMBOT launched its new generation of desktop smart label printers – the K3 series. The product theme, "Dual Printing, More Powerful," defines the main features of this new product, enabling dual printing modes for both waybills and label consumables, further expanding the product's application scenarios. In addition, the K3 series also features several functional innovations and upgrades, bringing users a brand-new label printing experience.

The NIIMBOT K3 series released two models this time: K3 and K3_W. Both products maintain the same design language, with the main difference being that the K3_W supports Wi-Fi connectivity for printing. Compared to the K3, the K3_W has a longer connection range, making it more adaptable to more extreme and larger application scenarios and ensuring stable print signal output. Both models in the K3 series feature a dual-mode paper loading design (built-in + external), supporting various paper types such as express delivery waybills and die-cut thermal labels. This better meets the needs of users who require both label and waybill printing, achieving multi-functionality and effectively reducing operating costs.

The K3 series is a standard 3-inch smart label printer that uses thermal printing technology. It requires no ink for its entire lifespan, prints as soon as paper is loaded, and has an effective printing width of 20-80mm. It can print labels in a wider and more diverse range of sizes and is mainly positioned to serve food baking and processing plants, clothing and home textile processing plants, express logistics, telecommunications and power, supermarkets and convenience stores and other scenarios and user groups.

The new K3 series features a large 100mm diameter paper tray, allowing for a larger paper capacity than similar products. The standard label liner is up to 32 meters long, enabling the printing of more labels with a single load, effectively reducing paper change frequency and meeting the needs of high-volume continuous printing. In addition, the new paper tray adopts an innovative shaftless structure design. Compared with traditional label printers with paper shafts, it eliminates the complicated paper feeding and manual paper fixing operations. The label paper is easily and automatically clamped and centered when placed in the paper tray, effectively preventing printing deviation and improving printing smoothness.

The K3 series products offer a printing speed up to 180mm/s, four times faster than ordinary label printers, producing approximately 20,000 labels per hour. Furthermore, the machine body utilizes a robust ABS material, ensuring stability during high-speed printing and providing superior stain resistance for better suitability for various environments.

The new K3 series uses an imported 203dpi printhead from an internationally renowned brand. Its printing life has been tested by the NIIMBOT laboratory and can continuously print for 80-100 kilometers. Compared with the 30-kilometer printing life of similar products, this is about three times longer, further reducing user costs and ensuring product durability.

In terms of connectivity, unlike previous products, the new K3 series supports up to three connection and printing methods: Bluetooth connection with mobile phones, USB connection with computers (supporting 5+1.8m USB extension cables), and regional WIFI connection (only supported by K3_W). This effectively ensures continuous, efficient, and stable output during printing jobs in various scenarios. Furthermore, the Bluetooth connection enables simultaneous multi-user connections, supporting up to 10 mobile phones (3 iOS systems and 7 Android systems) to connect and print at the same time. Compared to the previous one-to-one connection method, simultaneous multi-user connections effectively prevent and resolve situations where, in a shared label printer environment, the previous user fails to disconnect after use, causing the next user to be unable to connect.

In terms of functionality, the new K 3 series applies several intelligent technologies innovatively developed by NIIMBOT: intelligent paper return calibration function, after loading paper and closing the paper tray cover, the machine will automatically calibrate and retract the first label paper, which can save the step of manually adjusting the position of the label paper and avoid wasting the first sheet of paper; RFID self-identification label function, when the label paper is loaded into the paper tray, the machine automatically identifies the label paper style, without the need for the user to manually set the label size, and allows the user to directly enter the label content editing page by opening the APP and connecting to the machine, which is very efficient and simple.

Beyond hardware innovations, the NIIMBOT APP has also continuously developed numerous user-friendly software features, such as one-click batch printing. This allows for intelligent and rapid import of data from Excel spreadsheets; simply edit one label format, and all imported information is automatically formatted, enabling one-click batch printing of all different labels. A self-built product database function allows users to create their own product database, stored in the cloud, for long-term use, and allows for batch printing of different labels at any time, saving time and effort. Other features include over 1000 cloud templates for labels from various industries, multiple intelligent input methods (scanning, photo, voice), automatic production date updates, support for QR codes, barcodes, serial numbers, and multiple languages, effectively meeting diverse editing needs. To date, over 6 million users have used the NIIMBOT APP to efficiently and easily edit and print the various labels they need.
